Biscuits and Slices

Why this recipe is special:
These are a no-fuss delicious biscuit reminding us of Nana's home baking. These are made with everyday cupboard ingredients, are super easy to make, require 1 bowl, makes 30 biscuits: and has everyone moaning in delight in minutes!

Serves: 20+

Ingredients:
200g butter
1 c brown sugar
1 c white sugar
¼ milk
1 egg
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp Hansells vanilla essence
1 c flour
3 c rolled oats
½ c sultanas
½ nuts (whatever nuts – mixture of different types is good)
½ c sunflower seeds

Method:
Melt butter. As soon as is liquid add sugars eggs. Stir in milk, soda, Hansells vanilla essence.
Chuck in everything else. Mix it through.
Put heaped teaspoons of mixture onto a greased baking tray.
Bake 180 degrees. Bake 10-12 mins till golden.
