Biscuits and Slices
Why this recipe is special:
It is devine, and most people who love sweet things are unable to eat a whole piece in their first sitting, it is something you have to build up to, great plate to surprise people.
Serves: 20
Ingredients:
8oz kremelta
4 breakfast cups of cornflakes crushed
1 breakfast cup of coconut
1 breakfast cup icing sugar
1 tablespoon of cocoa
t teaspoon hansells vanilla essence
caramel filling
5oz butter
5oz soft brown sugar
tin sweetened condensed milk
3 level tablespoons golden syrup

Method:
Melt the krenelta and pour over the cornflakes, coconut, icing sugar, cocoa and teaspoon of vanilla essence. Mix well and press half the mixture in a tin and chill in the fridge.
Make the caramel filling - put the butter, soft brown sugar, condensed milk, golden syrup in a pot. boil till dissolved and then stir constantly while you boil for seven minutes. Take off the heat, beat well and add teaspoon of vanilla essence.
Spread the mixture on the amount chilling in the fridge. Add the rest of the kremelta, cornflake mixture over the top of the caramel.
Put in fridge to set.
