Why this recipe is special:
The smells coming from oven while these cookies are baking are decadent! I bake these for my personal trainer, whos nick-named 'Cookie Monster'
Serves: 20+
Ingredients:
125g soft butter
1 cup soft brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp Hansells Vanilla Paste
2 cups self raising flour
300g chocolate chips
Method:
Pre-heat oven at 160
Line a baking tray with baking paper
Cream butter and sugar, until pale
Add eggs, one at a time
Add vanilla, sift in flour
Lastly fold in chocolate
Roll dough into tablespoon size balls with floured hands, place onto baking tray, leaving room for speading between dough balls.
Leave dough balls to rest for about 10mins
Bake for 10-12mins, if you like them chewy, or 15mins for a crisp cookie
Makes approx 24
Note. Dough mixture will appear a little sticky.
