Jersey Caramel & White Chocolate Slice by Katrina Eddy
Biscuits and Slices
Why this recipe is special:
My partner loves traditional lolly cake but I decided to experiment one day and came up wih this rich number that disappears just a quickly. It's also something I can whip up quickly between looking after our new baby.
Serves: 20
Ingredients:
1 pkt vanilla wine biscuits (crushed)
200gm pkt of Jersey Caramels (cut in halves)
1 cup white chocolate drops
1/2 tin of condensed milk
125gms butter
Method:
Finely Crush biscuits in a large bowl. Add Jersey Caramels and white chocolate drops and mix
Melt condensed milk and butter in a pan over a medium heat, stirring the whole time (don't let this mix burn) until combined.
Allow condensed milk/butter to cool slightly and then mix well into to buscuit/jersey caramel, white chocolate mix .
Press into a brownie tray lined with baking paper and refrigerate until set. Slice and serve and keep refrigerated.
For extra decadence melt and drizzle white chocolate over the top before refigerating while slice is
still warm.
