Biscuits and Slices

Why this recipe is special:
Its yummo adults and children love it .You can use your own mix of nuts or even put 1/2 nuts 1/2 chocolate chips.It can be served cold as a a brownie or warm as a dessert .

Serves: 12

Ingredients:
226g Bittersweet Chocolate (not unsweetened)
1c chopped walnuts / macadamia or 1/2 nuts and 1/2 chocolate chips
3/4 c unsalted
2tbsp expresso coffee powder
1tbsp boiling water
1 1/2 c granulated sugar
2tsps vanilla essence
4 large eggs
1c sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt

Method:
Preheat oven 180 c (depending on your oven) butter and flour 33cmx23cm pan
Chop chocolate , mixture of nuts and butter into pieces.In a cup disslove expresso with boiling water.In a bowl set over barely simmering water on stove melt chocolate and butter with expresso.Stir until smooth,remove bowl from heat cool slightly until lukewarm.Stir in vanilla,sugar.Stir in eggs one at a time stirring well after each addition.Getly stir in flour and salt until combined.Stir in nuts.Pour into pre-pared pan.Cook until until skewer comes out clean in middle of oven approx 20-25mins.Cool and cut and dust with icing sugar,or serve warm with your favourite icecream.
