Biscuits and Slices

Why this recipe is special:
traditional slice, perfect for entertaining guests over afternoon tea

Serves: 5

Ingredients:
4oz butter, 1tbl spoon sugar, 2 tbl drink choc, 1 tbl gold syrup, 2tbl raisins, 8oz biscuits/cookies, 6 oz milk choc

Method:
easy, break biscuits into small crumbs, melt butter in pan, add sugar and syrup, stir, add raisins and drink choc stirring cont., bring to bolil stirring for 2/3 mins to thicken, add broken biscuits, mix thoroughly to cover biscuits, put into tin pressing firmly (use pregreased baking tin or easy peel tin), melt choc slowly whilst stirring, spread evenly, leave to cool, place in fridge and leave for 2hours
