Biscuits and Slices
Why this recipe is special:
If kneaded well and cooked slowly, this recipe looks great, tastes great and has a lovely texture.
Serves: 20
Ingredients:
500 gm butter
250 gm icing sugar
500 gm flour
250 gm cornflour
1/2 tsp vanilla
Method:
Soften butter
Cream butter and sifted icing sugar well.
Add vanilla.
Add remaining dry ingredients, sifted.
Mix well.
Press out flat on lighty floured surface.
Cut into squares.
Put onto baking paper on an oven tray.
Prick with a fork.
150 degrees for 15 minutes.
