Biscuits and Slices
Why this recipe is special:
It was passed down to me from my Nana. It is a lovely sweet slice, and is so easy to make. Great for any sweet tooth! The texture of nuts and dates with chocolate is yummy!!!!
Serves: 20+
Ingredients:
250g Sweet Crushed Biscuits, 50g Chopped Walnuts, 100g Chopped Dates, 2 tsp Cocoa Powder, 2 tsp Coffee, 1 tsp Vanilla Essence, 175g Broken Dark Chocolate, 400g Condensed Milk.
Method:
Mix biscuit crumbs, walnuts and dates into a bowl. Place remaining ingredients in bowl and cook in microwave on med/high for 2mins. Stir well. Pour melted mix into dry ingredients. Press into a prepared (greased dish). Smooth top. Ice with Icing of your choice once cooled and cut. (A chocolate peppermint icing is very refreshing)
