Nutella and Banana Pinwheels by Hansells Recipes

Ingredients:
1/2 ripe banana
1/4 cup Nutella
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon cornflour
4 teaspoons Hansells Baking Powder
2 tablespoons sugar
50g butter
About 3/4 cup milk
Method:
Peel the banana and mash until pureed. Mix the banana and Nutella together until combined.
Sift the flour, cornflour and baking powder into a bowl. Mix in the sugar. Rub the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture looks like coarse breadcrumbs. Alternatively, melt the butter and mix through the dry ingredients. Quickly and lightly, mix in enough milk to make a stiff dough.
Roll or pat the dough out on a lightly floured board to a 38 x 18 cm rectangle.
Spread the dough with the banana mixture to within 1 cm from one long edge. Roll up from the long side like a sponge roll. Trim the ends. Cut into 2 cm slices. Place cut-side down on a lightly floured oven tray.
Bake at 210 degrees C for 10 – 15 minutes or until lightly golden and cooked.
