Why this recipe is special:
my great gran used to make it
and she used to leave it to cool on the windowsill
kids used to pinch it
one day she replaced the contents ( wont say what with)
but it never went missing again

Serves: 10

Ingredients:
use to mix fresh water, bottled water or carbonated water
makes syrup and water to taste when cool
serve with ice and mint

lemons
sugar
citric acid
tartaric acid
it been an old family fav but im not sure of metric measure

Method:
grate rind of 4 - 6 lemons (6 if small /medium4 if large)
and squeeze juice into a pan
1kl bag of sugar or alternative sweetner
2 teasp citric acid
2 teasp tartaric acid
heat until sugar dissolved
either strain or leave lemon peel and bottle when cool
dilute to taste
