Ultimate M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies by Jane Sheetz

Serves: 20+

Ingredients:
Ultimate M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

¾ c butter or margarine softened
1/3 c sugar
1/3 c firmly packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla essence
1/3 t baking powder
1 1/3 c plain flour
Pinch salt
1 x 230 g M&M’s Mini Baking Bits
½ c chopped nuts (op)

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180°.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in Egg and vanilla
4. In a separate bowl, sift together flour baking powder and salt.
5. Blend into creamed mixture.
6. Stir in M&M’s Mini Baking Bits and nuts (if using).

Cooking:
1. Spoon heaped teaspoons of prepared cookie dough about 5 cm apart onto
baking paper on a flat oven tray.
2. Bake 10-13 minutes until edges are lightly browned, and centres are still soft
3. Do not overbake
4. Cool for 1 minute on baking paper then remove and cool on wire racks.
5. Store in tightly covered container
